    Basic Freediving.

The AIDA 2 course includes AIDA level 1, so you do not need to complete the try freediving course to start. This course focuses on developing the fundamental skills needed to become a safe and competent freediver. It is conducted over 3 days or 5 mornings.

During training, you will participate in both static and dynamic sessions, learning essential techniques such as relaxation, breathing, finning, and safety. You will also gain skills in deep diving up to 20 meters, breath-hold times of over 2 minutes, dynamic apnea distances of over 40 meters, rescue from depth, advanced buddy skills, and line diving with lanyards.

In the open-water sessions, you will apply these skills alongside fundamental freediving techniques like equalizing, duck diving, vertical swimming, body positioning, turns, and buoyancy control.

The theory component covers an introduction to freediving, the freediving breathing cycle, basic physiology, equalization techniques, safety procedures, equipment, and different freediving disciplines.

    Requirements

Students should have basic swimming skills and be able to swim 200 meters without stopping.

Students should be over 18 years of age or have parent/guardian approval if between 16 and 18 years of age.

    Static apnea (STA): 2 minutes.

    Dynamic apnea (DYNB) 40 meters.

Constant weight bi-fins (CWTB): 12 meters.

Theoretical exam: a passing score of 75.

    Cost: 370.

Duration: 3 days or 5 mornings.

    Advanced Freediving.

This course builds on previous levels to enhance existing skills, introduce new techniques, and deepen your understanding of freediving safety.

You will learn advanced techniques such as free-fall, frenzel equalizing, and the use of training tables, as well as managing pressure-related risks.

Practical training will cover core freediving disciplines, including static apnea, dynamic apnea, free lmmersion, and constant weight bi-fins.

The theoretical component will address topics such as physiology, equalization, barotrauma, buoyancy, shallow water blackout, training concepts, the mammalian dive response, decompression sickness, surface intervals, and the freediver's code of conduct.

The course is designed to further develop your skills, gain a higher knowledge of safety procedures, and refine techniques.

    Requirements:

    Static apnea (STA): 2:45 minutes.

    Dynamic apnea (DYNB): 55 meters.

Constant weight bi-fins (CWTB): 24 meters.

Theoretical exam: A passing score of 75%.

Age: 18 years or older (16-17 years old with parent or guardian consent)

Prerequisite: Completion of AIDA 2 or an AIDA 2 Crossover evaluation if transitioning from another freediving agency.

    Cost: 490.

    Duration: 4 days.
